Using SportsConnect Team Page
Once the Commissioner posts team rosters and schedules, coaches and assistant coaches can see this information on each team's Team Page in SportsConnect.
To access the Team Page:
- Log-in to SportsConnect.
- Look for your team's name - it should be hyperlinked with blue text - and click on it.
- Now you are on your Team Page.
On the Team Page, you can:
- See the team roster and email parents.
- Download the contact information for parents on your team by going to the Roster tab, and select Print Roster.
Using GameChanger
We strongly suggest you use the GameChanger app to manage your team's schedule and communicate with families.
Using GameChanger:
- coaches can email parents and they can email you.
- families can indicate player availability for each scheduled game.
- families can sync the schedule with their personal calendar.
Once Commissioners have posted team rosters and schedules in SportsConnect, this information will automatically sync with GameChanger. However, a coach or assistant coach must make the connection between SportsConnect and GameChanger for your team. This only needs to be done once per season, by an assigned team coach, then future changes in SportsConnect should be reflected in GameChanger automatically.
To set up your team in GameChanger, follow these steps:
- Download the GameChanger app at the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android)
- Follow GameChanger’s instructions to import your team from Sports Connect to GameChanger: https://help.gc.com/hc/en-us/articles/360006893592-Importing-Your-Team-From-Sports-Connect
- Sign in to GameChanger with the same email address you use with Sports Connect.
- Tap Create Team or the "+" sign in the top right corner of the app to create a new team.
- Choose the option to Import Sports Connect.
- If you haven't already confirmed your email address, click Open Email App which will direct you to your email. Select Confirm Email Address, and you'll be redirected back to the GameChanger app.
- Select the team(s) to import. Make sure the team(s) you want to import have a check next to them, and then tap import in the upper corner of the screen. You will see the status of teams importing at the bottom of the screen.
