Looking forward to Summer All-Stars Tournaments

Each summer, Little Leagues around the world select a team of players within the league to compete in a post-season tournament against other leagues to advance through regional and state tournaments. As in years past, Cap City plans to field four (4) all-stars teams, composed of players who participated in the regular season. All players must play in eight (8) out of twelve (12) scheduled regular season games.

There will be three baseball all-star teams – 10U for players little league ages 10 and under, 11U for players little league ages 11 and under, and 12U for players little league ages 12 and under.

Tentative Dates for Baseball All-Stars Tournaments:

  • 10u Tournament Week of June 23
  • 11U Tournament Week of June 30th (4th of July week)
  • 12U Tournament Week of July 7th

*Note: Stay tuned for confirmed tournament dates

We will field a softball all-star team for league ages 12 and under (12U). Cap City is also leading an effort to establish a local softball all-star tournament at the 10U level.

Cap City Gear Exchange

The Cap City gear exchange Google Group is live! We created it to provide a forum for you to buy, sell, or gift baseball or softball gear your player has outgrown. Save money and do a good thing for the planet by buying used instead of new, and give those cleats, gloves, and bats a new lease on life rather than having them take up space in your basement or closets.

To join the group, go to https://groups.google.com/g/cap-city-gear-exchange and click the “Ask to join group” button. Once you have been added, you can email members of the group with what you’re looking for or what you have to sell or gift. You can also view past messages on the group page.
