Cap City recently launched our Challenger Division, Little League’s adaptive program for kids with physical and intellectual challenges. This division is open to players ages 4 to 14, who due to physical or intellectual challenges, are not able to play in traditional baseball or softball divisions.
We are still recruiting players for this season.
If you have a player that is interested in participating, please sign-up here: https://go.teamsnap.com/forms/436388
If you know of a family that may want to participate, please share this information with them. There is no fee to participate in Cap City’s Challenger Division.
If you have questions, contact Tom Widor, Cap City’s Challenger Division Commissioner at challenger@capcityll.org.
Become a Cap City Sponsor
If you are a local business owner, or know someone who is, please consider becoming a Cap City sponsor. Cap City offers a range of sponsorship opportunities, including putting your business name on the back of team jerseys, highlighting your business in our community-wide communications, and through our Facebook account. You do not need to have a kid in the league to become a Cap City sponsor!
If interested, contact Kevin at sponsors@capcityll.org.
Cap City Gear Exchange
The Cap City gear exchange Google Group is live! We created it to provide a forum for you to buy, sell, or gift baseball or softball gear your player has outgrown. Save money and do a good thing for the planet by buying used instead of new, and give those cleats, gloves, and bats a new lease on life rather than having them take up space in your basement or closets.
To join the group, go to https://groups.google.com/g/cap-city-gear-exchange and click the, “Ask to join group” button. Once you’ve been added, you can email members of the group with what you’re looking for or what you have to sell or gift. You can also view past messages on the group page.
Please join and help us make this a useful resource!
