It may be (very) cold outside, but baseball and softball are right around the corner! Read on for key dates, registration reminders, and information about Kids Elite Sports Summer Camp.

 

Calendar At-a-Glance

Here is the calendar of events for now through the Spring 2024 season. Watch your inboxes and our Facebook and Instagram accounts for more details:

  • Jan. 17 thru March 20: Indoor softball clinics for Softball Majors players.
  • Feb. 9 (NEW DATE): Regular registration ends/waitlist opens*
  • Feb. 23: Waitlist for AAA and Majors (baseball) closes – no new sign-ups will be accepted
  • Feb. 25: Assessment for new players registered for, or attempting to, play up to AAA or Majors (baseball). Will run from 12pm to 5pm. Majors-eligible players will have earlier slots, AAA-eligible later slots. Rain date is Feb. 26 (4pm-7pm). More details coming soon.
  • March 2: Parent Softball Game (Rain date is March 3. Save the date!)
  • Week of March 11: Practices & games begin for AAA & Majors (baseball)
  • March 15: Waitlist for all other divisions closes.
  • Week of March 18(NEW DATE): Practices & games begin for all other divisions
  • April 6: Spring Cap City Family Fun Day at Chevy Chase Recreation Center (Save the date!)
  • June 9: Spring season, including playoffs, scheduled to end.

*Players that sign up for the waitlist are not guaranteed to be put on a team. For waitlist sign-ups, even if we can put your player on a team—we probably will not be able to honor specific team requests.

Summer Camp at Kids Elite Sports – A Cap City Flagship Sponsor
